Physical Characteristics:

– General colour greyish to yellowish brown, browner on the hindquarters and thighs.
– Shoulder Height of the Male: 1.10 m.
– Adult Weight of the Male: +-120 kg.
– Habits: Similar to those of red deer.
– Habitat: Grassy plains bordered by woodlands.
– Food Habits: Mainly a grazer but also browses, depending on season and availability of food.
– Rutting Season: The rutting season is generally from mid July to end of August
– Gestation Period: Approximately 8 months.
– Sexual Maturing of the Female: 1½ years.
-Number of Offspring: One.

Guillaume was born in Mauritius and has been hunting for more than 25 years. Having guided many hunters from over 11 European countries, most countries of the middle east and hunters from Australia, Russia, South Africa and the United States, has made him a formidable host and guide.

His experience in hunting ranges beyond just the Rusa deer and Wild boar as he has extensive knowledge in African game.

He is also passionate in fishing and sports, and prioritises in building a strong lasting relationship with all his clients.
